Take enough snacks/eatables from Madgaon since this train has a 10 minute halt there. After Madgaon, literally nothing edible is available onboard.

Last time(July 2013) when I traveled on this between MAO and Udupi lot of food was available. Goli Bhajji,Goa Bun,Upma,Samosa etc. Guess it has changed now.
