Not much far. It shd be say 15-20 minutes one way! U can visit Gurudwara Sahib and back within 4 hrs, if its non-rush/non-festival day, and There's separate bus op by the Managing committee to take u around other places of religious interest, but that will take half day or so.
Arrive by ADB - NED express at 12 and boarding Nandigram at 16:50.

Can anyone advise if we reach by 23:45 at NED will it be safe ? Can we get autos or something to reach Gurudwara at that time.

I think NED is absolutely safe, and autos wd be there plus u can get accomodation in serais of Gurudwara
