Keep this train as last option incase you care about your back.Though this train attains good speed and has less stops,sitting for whole 8 hrs will pose a problem.This train also attracts high number of unreserved,daily commuters,waitlisited passengers.

I haven't said it is unpopular.It is popular train.But this train is highly uncomfortable since i have travelled many times.

I don't know in which way u says uncomfortable.
I agree that GUj mail is better option but it is overnight so can't compare it to Karnavati.

This train is first preference for Surati in Day light train and it has good response also in Surat Mumbai/ADI sector
if people are talking in relation to time of Karnavati then Suryanagari, Bhuj-Dadar, Ajmer-Dadar, Jodhpur-BDTS are better option for travelling, as you will get sleeper seat at reasonable price
Clear Red signal. This train is the best day option as shatabdi like comfort without dynamic fare. Gujarat Express has to be the last option in this route. Karnavati has supreme most priority and excellent speed throughout this route. The order of preference should be Shatabdi=Karnavati (Depending on when you need to leave)>Double Decker>Gujarat Express
