This is a small stn in Raigad District, only passenger trains halt. This stn is suitated on the curve and platform is very low below. Its surrounding is very beautiful. It has the background of Sahyadri Range mountains. Best place to do railfanning during monsoons. Has a small stn building on PF#1 and behind stn building, at distance of 100 metre, NH 17 (Mumbai-Goa Highway) passes.
