This is on the shimoga talaguppa line. about 45kms from shimoga. serene and scenic spot lots of bonds water bodies. Added bonus- you an go to narsipura where narayana murthy(known as bhattru) who gives forest bark and tree portions for variety of ailments that defy modern medicine
