For a RailFan, watching MPS skips are far more interesting than watching F1 race - Prince Maan

This is the closest accessible station to Ramagiri Gold Fields, in the district of Anantapuram is the only gold field in Andhrapradesh at a distance of 17 kms. Only passenger train stops here. So the next nearest major station is Dharmavaram Junction. Accessible by buses and diesel auto rickshaws.
Need special permission from the Geology department to visit the site. Site is marked in Yellow in the center of the map.
