Bijapur-Mysore via Hubli,Mangalore and Bijapur-Chennai via Gadag and Bellary. These new train will help to connect many historical places of Karnataka(viz Bijapur,Badami,Aihole,Gadag,Beluru,Halebedu and Mysore). This will boost tourism activity. It also create few direct and indirect jobs in respective places.
2. Bijapur-Chennai via Gadag and Bellary. Chennai has many IT and auto industry related companies.Chennai has US consulate too. There are lot of software engineer from North karnataka work in Chennai and they often find difficulty in reaching Chennai. They need to take bus till Bangalore and then train or bus from Bangalore. We have shortest path to reach Chennai but due to unavailability trains people from this region finding it difficulty. This helps lot of people to reach Chennai quickly and helps tourism (Bijapur-Hampi-Chennai).
