GNC has been linked to New Delhi and Mumbai for quiet some time now. However it has got only two passing trains for North India since then. Why other north/south bound trains not given a stop at GNC even though so many promises have been made in the past?

well the Gandhinagar citizen's council has time and again made request but all futile.
The need of the hour is not prestigious trains but better connectivity of Gujarat to its capital city. More Mail/Express/IC trains need to go through GNC. There are hundreds of govt. offices in GNC and thousands of people travel daily to these offices for their respective work from all over Gujarat. Presently people have to get off at ADI and reach GNC by road which is expensive and time consuming compared to a train.
Public Should now give Aggression instead of Just Requesting.....Only then Authorities will See GNC.
Come on guys, 19 kms more is longer route for IR. Seriously!!! Time wise it will take half an hour more. Connectivity and facilities for a state capital are at stake here.
