Soumya Banerjee 149 blog postsMy mom reached secunderabad in this train today.It seems, no TTE boarded the train in the entire route.The train maintained good timing,and reached seunderabad today on time.Request the authorities to pay attention to this and request SER/E Co R/SCR authorities to look into this issue.TTE s are responsible for verifying if passengers are travelling with a valid ticket.
No TTE??Thats really surprising to note.Could be rare thing or could have come at night and left marking the presence without disturbing your mother.Might have just ticked charts by their own and left with out formal checking.
But at least in SCR zone , and sometimes in SER , ticket checking is very strict in all the trains.Even in crawler trains like east coast express, wherein we see huge crowds in all the classes, there too TTEs make their presence. Don't know how they missed out in this newbie.
TTE's do roam inside AC Express too. Have seen in this AC express generally. Maybe he was busy or else didn't bother much or some other issues.
Even in SCR strict ticket checking goes on,what could have possibly happened is the earlier TTE could have joined late and did some informal checking,the TTE joining after him do tend to check only new joinees but not the already travelling passengers.
