posted another grievance - MORLY/E/2013/10294
"with ref. to partial guage conversion of Marwar Jn-Mavli Jn of NWR, pls let us know as to when the remaining 137 km from Marwar jn to Nathdwara would get converted. Post guage conversion of jodhpur-marwar jn in 1997-98 millions of people of Western Rajasthan have lost a direct rail link not only to Udaipur, Chittor but onwards to Malwa-Mahakaushal regions of MP, Vidarbha-Marathwada regions of Maharashtra as well as Andhra Pradesh. People who have moved Maharashtra/MP/AP decades ago are facing hardships to travel to their ancestral land for various socio-cultural-econonomic activities. Pls refer the attached RTI filed by a fellow Railway Passenger Mr. Bagh Singh Chowdhary for further information and provide a timeline to convert
this line to BG on urgent basis"
Hope the Railway Board takes this issue seriously now.

Apparently the Member of Parliament from Rajsamand, Mr. Gopal singh Shekhawat has also raised the Marwar jn- Mavli jn guage conversion issue in Parliament several times in past 3 years-

still the Railways is not paying heed to the long standing demand. we need to support this demand very strongly now
