Day 2 ( 08.12.13) MS - RMM
Started home by 1530 along with my parents and my aunty from Mandaveli. Took auto. he asked meter + Rs.20.00 since 4 people are there. said ok..
Rchd stn by 1600 Hrs.. Took some snacks @ hot chips.
Vendor came @ after TBM and took order for dinner. He said no...
more... rice items.. We ordered Poori / Chapati / Idli..
Dinner was served after VM. we got down at VM and purchsed pongal vada.
After dinner, our berth was LB / MB / LB / MB and SLB. I slept after having dinner. Got up by 0300 Hrs. when d train crossed RMD. Waiting to cross d PAMBAN Bridge.
D signal was green for entering Pamban Bridge. The train reduced speed and entered d bridge. When d centre point rchd it slowed little further and proceeded. It took around 8 - 10 min. to cross d bridge.
D train rchd RMM @ around 0430 Hrs. We got down and stayed there for sometime
Myself and my dad went out to chk for room near stn / temple.. we just having tea opp. to stn.. where we spoke to auto guy, he said there are many hotels near d temple, and took us to one " Manikandan Lala lodge A/c., near d temple.
We took family room amount is Rs.1000.00 after bargaining. since we said we are not going to stay til night and we lv by evening.
WE had a good darshan at Ramanatha swami temple. Had bath in 22 wells, ( Well No. 6 & 7 under repair ) after lunch slept for some time.
RMM - RMD went by bus.. had dinner and proceed for stn.. d train arrived at 2140 Hrs. on PF 1. Since it is weekly train none aware about d coach position. our coach was S1. D train arrived at 2140 it had 5 SL coach only. Our Berth was MB / UB / MB / UB / MB. one person was kind enough to change his LB to MB for my mother.
too tired. I slept imm. after getting into d berth. Got up by 0400 Hrs. d train was slowing down.. I just got dn and and chkd. d train was entering CAPE by 0400 Hrs. came bk to my berth and told my dad we arrived CAPE.
