I have a Tatkal ticket whose current status is WL/3 for a train tomorrow evening. Now, if the ticket moves to CNF status by today evening and I cancel it then, will I get a refund or not?

Welcome back Phani. Like Ashok said,no refund on cnf tickets but people usually cancel anyway to help others behind in the queue.
