Yes i only once went to VSKP in 2002 .....then trains from KGP were diesel loco hauled
See the destination board of train attached to loco too.....great
KGP, VSKP ALCO's used to rule BZA - KGP stretch til ELCO's took over.
And yes, board was mostly given to some trains. Coromandel was one of the high priority in those days (unlike now, where it enjoys priority but not much in some sections.)
