रेलमंत्री ने राप्ति गंगा को गोरखपुर से आगे मऊ तक चलाने के लिए तत्काल अनुपूरक मांग के लिए स्वीकृत किया एवं राप्ति गंगा एक्सप्रेस को तीन दिन देहरादून से मऊ व चार दिन ऋषिकेश से मऊ तक चलाने का आश्वासन दिया।
