2 of my cousins are travelling from mumbai to kanpur VIA NDLS.They have boarded yesterday in 12953 AUG KRNTI RAJDHANI frm BCT-NDLS but today near MATHURA JN their train stood for almost 3 hrs because of today's palwl emu accident.They have to deboard the 12953 at NZM at 10:55 am and for onward journey frm NDLS-CNB they have to board 12424 DBRT RAJ.BUT unluckily 12953 is delayed for 04 hrs and 12424 is departed frm NDLS.
Can anythng be done NOW and all suggestions are welcome.

Yes they will, tell your cousin to Go to Station master/PRS incharge with the printed E ticket , they will stamped it and they will allot in any available trains.

In case it was a Online E ticket the ticket will automatically cancelled the refund will be given automatically , no need to apply anything for that if it was PRS the refund will not be given
