Now that new VSKP division is getting formed with just 410 kms, it seems the earlier requirement of minimum 600 kms per division is done away with.

In such a scenario, why can't we have MAQ in Mysore division? Earlier the argument was that it will dismantle PGT division (as it would become e less than 600 kms). With the new development, Kerala can have 2 divisions with a total length of 1040 kms. Distances in Kms

Parasala upto Thrissur in TVC and anything beyond in PGT division.

Mangalore will be free from PGT and CAPE NCJ will be free from TVC. Opinions please 🙏

This is a good decision.
Also, as and when KLBG division gets formed, KLBG to Wadi to RC can be in that division, apart from partial lines from other new lines (Wadi -Gadag and RC - HPT).
Anyway, good move.
No additional zone inside Karnataka. Thank God!!

You are talking about Mumbai Chennai running through 4 zones. But think of Karnataka-- an intra state train from Mangalore to Bidar should cross 5 zones!! Therefore, no train is running between these two towns. If RC was kept in SCOR, it would have become 6th zone for Karnataka

As SCR is getting smaller, SCR SC division can be given Wadi to Kalaburagi 37 kms from CR. This will pave way for more trains from Bidar towards Karnataka towns.
Now Bidar to KLBG in SCR, KLBG to Wadi in CR, again Wadi to DMM again in SCR (in future Wadi to RC in SCR and then RC to DMM in SCOR) and DMM to SBC in SWR. It is going to be 5 times zone interchange. Instead, if KLBG to Wadi is given to SCR, it can improve the situation.

I would welcome the train upto MAQ. As there is lot of resistance by SR to allow this train to MAQ, I feel this may be a ploy to take it somewhere inside Kerala (may be Ernakulam). Hence, I suggested that if it gets extended, it should be to Mysore.

Though in principle I agree with you, SWR is a very odd zone who do not run any train to Mumbai from Bangalore or Mysore.
SWR MYS should run tri weeklies via MAJN MAO and via UBL MAO to Mumbai, with RSA with UBL DR.
One cannot expect any good train from SWR to Mumbai, as long as bus operators are ruling. 🤔

Kai trains ko Kanpur se Prayagraj wale route pe chalaya hai taaki jaada se jaada passengers travel kr sake.

congested hai aur upar se ye special train chalane se aur jada traffic congestion badh gya hai.
Lekin jis branch line pe sirf 4 jodi train chalti hai aur kuch malgadhi chalti hai us route pe train kyu nhi chalayi gyi?
Northern Railway ka Lucknow division is route ke saath itni partiality kyu kr rha hai?

Mujhe lagta hai ki is problem ka sirf ek hi solution hai.
Kanpur Prayagraj Branch Line ko NCR Prayagraj Division me tranfer kr diya jaaye
Aur vaise bhi central UP me Northern Railways ki jaroorat bhi nhi hai
Poore Lucknow Division ko aadha NER aur aadha NCR me de diya jaaye
Kyuki Northern Railways ka matlab hi hai North ka railway zone. Jo ki Jammu, Ambala Delhi me theek hai
Ye Lucknow me NR ki jaroorat nhi hai.

Last me yahi kahunga ki NR ko Lucknow Division se itna bhedbhav nhi Krna chahiye. Har jagah NR ko apni taang ghusaani hoti hai lekin karna kuch nhi aata inko.
Varanasi, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Bareli sab inke control me hai. Jaha NR ki jaroorat nhi waha bhi ghusa hua hai.

Na hi doosre zones ko theek se kaam krne dete hai na hi khud krte hai
Aishbagh Manaknagar bypass line banane me 1 saal laga diya NR ne sirf kuch ghante ke block dene ke liye. Itne sharm ki baat hai ki NR apne zone me doosre zones ki trains ko jaanboojh ke late kr deta hai aur doosre zones ko kaam bhi nhi krne deta.
Northern Railways ko interzonal competition se bahar aana chahiye aur theek se kaam Krna chahiye.

If one additional rake is alloted, this Mumbai Hospet train can go upto Mysore via ASK HAS.
CSMT 2120 SUR 0500 HPT 1200 ASK 1800 MYS 2100.
Return MYS 0600 ASK 0845 HPT 1445 SUR 2130 CSMT 0545.
The rake can go as Koyna at 0840, as it is without any change.
