KM are given next to station. AWB to UDZ shortest route is as follows.
Aurangabad (AWB) 0
Mumbai Central (BCT) 365
Vadodara Jn (BRC) 709
Ratlam Jn (RTM) 971

Feedback and suggestion on showing message In IR.
1. They can show message "booking not started" instead of train canceled message for the trains which booking start in future.
2. They can show message "booking not allowed" instead of Not Available message for the route where booking is not allowed
3. They can show message Booking start on so and so date
instead of showing message "The Dates given were outside ARP"
4. They Can show message "pqwl or rqwl wl" instead of showing Wait list for the intermediate station search availability. As user to know this only after it ticket booked.
5. They can show message booking not available instead of showing Regret/WL 1
6. They can show message Please check the station or show the correct station instead of ISL station deleted.
Feed back and suggestion on showing message in indiarailinfo.
In availability page when data does not download or due to any other reasons it shows every time "sorry error occurred" . Instead of showing sorry error occurred you can show exact error message which comes from IR.

these suggestions are good and can be discussed. This would make it easier for common man to understand the messages.
Please email these suggestions to the official IR site

The features suggested are indeed worthwhile, however only to be implemented or considered by the moderator!
Regarding the WL display, it is very difficult to judge whether a particular station shared a PQ or RL waitlist with the starting station of a train! Also there can be many PQ for diff. stations w.r.t. the originating station of a particular train!

Thanks very much for the useful suggestions. As the precision of information grows, we need to be more diligent on accuracy. For this reason, for now, we have broad error messages, since we ourselves are not 100% certain on the above status messages. For eg. the "Train Cancelled" message is currently displayed on the official site for a variety of reasons, including future trains, where a "booking not started" message is more appropriate. At present, we don't take liberties with this message, just in case we are wrong.
We shall certainly make an atttempt to increase the sophistication and precision of messages.

Why not a category in blog so that we can read that particular category. For example I am not interested in PNR prediction and will My ticket confirm or food query or general query like add coach, extended train , stop this train . I can avoid this type of post.

PNR prediction was a major and bulky section which could well be identified and hence, has already been separated. Still if you see, a lot of inquiries are there in the main section about PNRs.
Railways is such a vast subject that Categories will divide into further categories and categorisation itself will become cumbersome.
You yourself have written a number of sections and only at one blink, I could thought of a few more:
Types (Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, GR, Yuva, Jan Shatabdi, Jan sadharan, Mother, Mail Express, Passenger, superfast)
Loco (Diesel, Electric, steam/coding)
Loco (Passenger, Goods/coding)
Coaches (Type, Class, capacity, make, curtains, colour, compatibility, coding)
Pantry Cars, Food quality, food available enroute, whether food is provided
Reservation (Tatkal, Genral, Booking time, opening time)
Reservation basis (GN, GNWL, RSWL, PQ, PQWL, RLWL)
How to book ticket - Counter and Net
W/L confirmation
Quota (different types, eligibility)
Schedules, Halts, Time Keeping
Lost / mutilated ticket
Boarding change
Reporting after boarding point is left behind
Dog or Pet carrying
Luggage booking
Please suggest which classification/s would you like to have.

The following new personalization features have been introduced.
1. Blog Rating, PNR Prediction, collapsing/expanding of blog entries, marking entries as "read", date/time when the blog post is read, date/time when PNR prediction is made - all these aspects have now been made uniform.
In the main forum section, all blog posts now have a pair of Vote/Close buttons. When you click on these, your vote is recorded and the blog post is marked as "read" and collapsed. Members can see their own voting history, also, when they read and voted on a particular
Blog Post. When you click on one of the Close buttons, these Blog Posts are collapsed, and they will stay collapsed on all future visits. At the top right hand corner of each collapsed blog post, you will see when you read the blog post, and how you voted on it. This might make forum browsing easier since now you don't have to re-read the same posts again. Clicking on any collapsed blog post will re-open the blog post.
2. The above logic also holds for PNR predictions. When you make a prediction, the PNR post collapses and on the top right hand corner, you will see what prediction you made and when you made it.
3. New PNR alerts will appear only for actual new PNR posts, and not when someone makes a prediction.
4. PNR prediction summary is available at the top right hand corner of each PNR post. A new PNR Prediction summary table has been introduced which will show a quick list of predictions.
5. Against every new blog post you make, a pen symbol appears at the top right readily identifying members' own posts. Members cannot vote on their own blog posts, and these posts always stay collapsed.
Soon to be introduced:
As you read and collapse individual blog posts, quick summary figures will be listed on the top - how many posts were read today, how many remain to be read. Same for PNRs - how many PNRs were predicted today (or on any date), how many remain to be predicted, and accuracy figures on a day-by-day basis.
All the above features are aimed to personalize the reading/browsing experience of the forum. This feature set will continue to be enhanced in the coming days and weeks.
We understand that these changes are extensive, and have resulted in modifications to the look and feel of the Forum and PNR sections. It might take some time to get used to the new look. Please bear with us. We shall be making further changes based on feedback. Thanks.

I have suggestion
suppose a post have 50 reply and have read all the 50 reply and it is very difficult to click 50 time to close. If Iclick on main post close then all reply also should be closed.
It will be better there is one Mark as read so that again it should not come in the
list or have a tab read or unread post so that I can go only to unread post and not all post.
