In the MG era it was a Daily train. It should be made a Daily. It should be speeded up as much as possible.

Finally a dedicated special from/to dhanbad these types of sleeper clones are needed to run on regular basis to reduce the high waiting list in regular trains sleeper class Alleppey and Tata Ers.

This train is originally Mumbai Latur later extended to Bidar in Karnataka to serve Udgir in MH and Bidar ( remote location and no trains passes to Mumbai) for 3 days. It serves as convenient overnight train for Latur region catering to small towns of Barshi, Osmanabad, Latur and Udgir interior MH. Due to PF constraints in Mumbai is running with only 18 coaches snd need to be expanded to 22 coaches. Lot of buses operate during night from Mumbai/Pune to these places. So it should not be extended to anywhere and as the route is long for Hyderabad. Hyderabad Pune/Mumbai requires faster trains in short direct route and not these extentions.

On the contrary, 22107/08 should be made to run daily till Latur as earlier. 22143/44 should be shifted to a new slot and should run tri-weekly via Latur-Udgir and 4 days a week via Solapur-Kalaburagi

That could be an election jumla , nothing on ground reality. The rake is of ER and not sure if they will run it again but it is very much required service and acts as an alternative for DHN-JGM MEMU which runs crowded between BKSC-PRR.
Inter zonal tussle is an unwanted reality. It is more pronounced in case of ER and SER. Most extreme example is Masagram. Almost 7-8 years have elapsed bqa masagram have been commissioned and, there are two separate stations still exist in two zones only a few yards apart in Masagram. Now linking is being done on war foot via Gatishakti purpose vehicle but this could be done many years back when the GC project has been conceived in planning stage. Such a shame! Whom we can blame; the then MPs or RM or Project Engineers. Still confused. We are always in sufferer's end.
