A new bypass line is in progress at lalitgram. Could not take pictures but I saw. And rigorous work in progress for dbg bypass. After that few trains should originate from katihar via purnea fbg. That will develope the most neglected region in effective way. That route is awesome but needs to be straightened.
NJP CDO only takes cares of WB trains in fact the special trains of WB too😂😂😂This trains get usually delay between GKP-NDLS section which makes its non prefable train for NFR paseengers so they choose MAHANANDA above this
Which class were you in Mahananda Exp? Are unauthorised pax even an issue in higher classes like 2A?
I was in 3rd ac. I generally travel in 3rd ac when travelling alone. Condition of train was good but became hectic after kanpur.Didn't check 2ac but who knows. However I didn't let anyone to sit on my SL but for this thing you will mostly have to show some agression.
Lol, I understand. I also had Side Lower recently in 3A and it was occupied like heck on BJU-GWL Mail. I made it empty at LKO and just as I went to take some breakfast at CNB, again my seat was taken. There were so many staff for JHS bound. I didn't even footplate this time because of fear of losing my seat. On contrary, [I had a split journey in 2A+3A since the two tickets were done separately], the singular 2A coach was unoccupied by extra folks and largely better than the mess 3A was.

From some days i am thinking why VSKP-MAS both dedicated trains for VSKP onward and Return train is having veered TT /train/29014/35/401 . /train/14944 this is the Reason as i found it now which may possible 95%. The morning departure from MAS to VSKP is exactly of MAS-BBS Weekly. So soon VSKP-MAS-VSKP will be extended to BBS for early morning arrival for BBS Passengers. Once VSKP-MAS will be LHBfied extension will take place as currently 22801 VSKP-MAS is running with ICF-CBC Rake but 22870 is LHBfied and ECoR waiting for new LHB rakes for 22801 to extend it to BBS.

Chennai Visakhapatnam weeklies and Chennai Bhubaneswar used to share the same slot with Chennai dep at 2110. After lockdown restart Chennai wanted to return the rakes from PF without keeping in stabling line till night. At the same time Tirupati BBS 2 weeklies used to leave at 1200 so SCR has given a common slot for Tirupati BBS and Chennai Vskp, BBS trains from GDR at 1215 upto Vskp 2230. This is brief history of the slots and sequence of adjustments done from the past 5 yrs.
so can we think extension plan is not there? can u confirm it please?
Both Visakhapatnam Chennai weekly express trains have RSA and are engaged for the total week. Monday Dep with Thrusday Shirdi express, Saturday dep ICF rake with Paradeep exp, Kurnool spl. I haven't heard any such proposal of extention.

SCRrailfan 0 blog postsCan anyone explain exactly what is the problem of SCR in lhbfing venkatadri express,almost all trains which are serving since 40+ years got lhbfied but this 48 year legend is still running with icf i think the biggest sin on this train is being originating from kachiguda,since SCR almost forgot that a CDO named KCG exist,even SWR treats Vasco better
