Yes SDAH-KIR will v flop bt if railway plan to run SDAH-SHC VB via MLDT, KIR, PRNA, then it will definetly be a good train for that region specially PURNEA paseengers
Koaa Dbg Maithili itself took years to get decent patronage as it was a day time train. The demand between Kolkata - Bihar is mostly for overnight trains actually with Patna being the only exception. That section can easily fillup another reverse VB
You r right... Bt now flight to kolkats from darbhanga is always booked.... So VB can be a better option too for the pasengers
Partially filled up due to malda 😂 . Too much obsession you guys have with malda. Hatey bazare has maximum chunk of people from katihar itself. Not only in hatey bazare do rti for jogbani kolakata also which passes through purnea fbg still KIR would be on top for patronage. We will see what patronage malda gives for agartala rajdhani after a year. KIR shared most of the patronage of train after agartala and guwahaty. Do love your place but don't demean others in obsession.
I strongly believe i haven't said anything demeaning to Katihar. Malda, being a city of Bengal, has high demand for Kolkata. That capital city factor doesn't exist for Katihar. Pick up any train on the Malda-Kolkata sector, including trains like Njp shatabdi and Njp VB and u will find Malda gives the 2nd highest number after NJP on this route. I dont, and haven't either, claim the same for other routes like Delhi or Mumbai or some other city but for Kolkata, yes Malda have a bigger demand for sure.
Coming to ur 2nd claim, yes i know Hatey Bazare and Jogbani gets filled up from Katihar and that's why i had already said Bihar-Kolkata demand is mainly for overnight trains. Only...
