because of late arrival of survodya exp, GimB Puri shunted on PF 1, many pessanger was on PF3 as in general train depature is from PF3.

Ye to Bagh Express se bhi bada crawler bana diya. Isse better Bagh ko hi 2 days divert kar dete is route se. Tanakpur aur Ramnagar ko new weeklies de dete same route se.

LHBfied1307172SUPEREXPRES~ 254 blog postsAs now 13413/14 and 13483/84 transferred to NFR from ER, I think and request to ER authorities to use it's previous rakes to introduce new services to southern states as Chennai, Vizag, Trivendrum as well as Bhopal, Raipur and any other which is not connected by trains with Malda, Bhagalpur route.

A train can be introduced between Malda and Bhopal/Indore through Bhagalpur, to give connectivity between these places.
Entire social media for the past few days is filled with videos of travellers on trains struggling for space across all classes.
The absolute dead silence on this matter from the Railways and the Rail Minister is only making it worse.

It was always like this, some times there are certain trends on social media, nothing else. Not much capacity has been increased, in fact the crowding is mostly in the Bihar Delhi trunk route, which is saturated since long and no capacity has been added, so not many new trains can be introduced. And tbh crowding in railways is hardly an issue for a general election. No govt has ever been able to solve it and no govt will ever solve it.
Earlier this case was limited only to Bihar and Purvanchal region trains, but nowadays every train is been suffering through this worse. It's not just because of reduction of sleeper/general coaches, but even the improvement in economic conditions have led the people to think that they should even travel comfortably (whether alone or in family, whether with one bag or whole household).

This was required to be highlighted. Reducing the lower classes, not providing proper accommodation to the passengers, and only focusing on profitability rather than on serviceability is a major causes of this situation. Also, if they make a profit and do not utilize the same for educating the people is again proving to be a burden for the society.
Overcrowding of General coaches is not just the problem of Bihar or UP. In Andhra Pradesh where we have good bus connectivity the intercity trains run overcrowded with 150 passengers while the GS coaches of night trains run with 200 passengers. My father is telling me how he used to travel standing in 1970s even after 50 yrs it's the same.
To sum up your statement Just one word willl be apt that's it's Artificial scarcity.
People baselessly say that it's not new , it's been in the past too but aren't they are aware that earlier 11 to 13 sleeper and 4 unreseved was standard coach composition. But in some trains it is now imposed as 2 sleeper and 2 unreserved, so where the rest of the crowd will accommodate.
