പുനലൂര്: ആഹ്ളാദത്തിന്റെ നിമിഷങ്ങളായിരുന്നു പുനലൂര് റെയില്വേ സ്റ്റേഷനില് വ്യാഴാഴ്ച. ഉച്ചവെയിലില്, ഒട്ടും തിരക്കില്ലാതിരുന്ന സ്റ്റേഷനിലേക്ക് പതുക്കെ തീവണ്ടി ഓടിക്കയറി. തീവണ്ടി എന്ജിന് നിര്ത്യപ്പോഴേക്കും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര് അഹ്ലാദത്തോടെ ഓടിയെത്തി. മധുരം പകര്ന്നും പരസ്പരം കൈകൊടുത്തും സന്തോഷം പങ്കുവച്ചു.ഗേജ്മാറ്റംപൂര്ത്യാക്കിയ പുനലൂര്-ഇടമണ് പാതയില് ആദ്യമായി ബ്രോഡ്ഗേജ് തീവണ്ടി എന്ജിന് ഓടിയതിന്റെ ആഹ്ലാദപ്രകടനമായിരുന്നു അത്. ഇനി സേഫ്റ്റി കമ്മിഷണറുടെ അനുമതികൂടി ലഭിക്കുന്നതോടെ ഈ പാതയില് ബ്രോഡ്ഗേജ് തീവണ്ടിയോട്ടമെന്ന സ്വപ്നം യാഥാര്ഥ്യമാകും.......

As we all know, IRCTC is official food provider for Indian Railways. I just wanted to share you the Rate chart which is been uploaded on Indian Railways official website and would like to throw some light on how passengers had to suffer and had to pay 1.5X or 2X times of original price.

For example, let us consider "standard casserole meal -Veg", as per IRCTC it should be Rs50 ONLY inside train and Rs 45 on the station...

but you all know the reality. Usually, I found IRCTC caterers charge Rs 75-120 or even more depending upon route and IRCTC agent.
I request Railway ministers as well vigilance department to please look on to the matter and get these glitches resolved as we need to have a great experience with Indian Railways.
