The reason you see empty rakes of VSG trains at Madgaon is because they are sent to Savordem for parking due to space constraints at Vasco Da Gama.
Konkan Railways are so efficient that they have delayed this train by 2 hours before Panvel itself and now 12741 is running ahead of this special train.
And no this train should run from Vasco Da Gama few others terminating at Madgaon. Why should every Goa bound train terminate at MAO.

MAO MAQ VB to CBE?
MAQ CBE takes 7 hours. Total journey time will be 12 hours. It would take less time than that to run it to Mumbai which has already been proposed by MPs of coastal KA. Rake is owned by PGT division and maintained at MAQ CDO.🙂

And can you tell is their any daily slot available at Agra cantt or Gwalior jn or Jhansi jn for primary or secondary maintenance of any train ?
why this train is being destroyed, it no longer feels like a duronto train. Skipping major cities and stopping at villages, some stops after Delhi should be removed and koderma don't deserve the stoppage. Stop ruining Kolkata trains.
Extension was the worst idea. Don't know how it was approved. KQR is a political halt. Hope railway removes after completion of 6 month.

Extension took away it's status of fastest Duronto express. After Delhi, gurgaon is important station which could be given a halt to avoid traffic at NDLS, but it stops at villages like Sri Dungargarh, Sadulpur, it's disgusting. Isse better koi nayi train Chala dete. Really hope KQR gets removed. It's necessary atleast this train is best between Kolkata and Delhi.

Close call, if GT reaches 30+ minutes late then it would be difficult to catch SVDK VB
I'd recommend either taking the normal SF train towards SVDK (if any) or take the afternoon SVDK VB train... unless u have any itinerary in SVDK...
