I think NJP CDO is over burdened. They need to pass on some responsibilities to KIR or KNE CDOs 😂
I feel the only issue with this train is punctuality issue, NER, NR doesn't give proper importance to this train and this is the reason this train runs delayed most of the time.
I recommend Mahananda over this train to my friends 😂. Mahananda's punctuality has improved a lot in last few years..

I feel Katihar CDO shud be used and new train for ANVT, ASR should be explored via PRNA FBG Saraigarh Nirmali DBG NKE GKP CNB.
This route should also get a Delhi bound train & KIR CDO shud be used for maintenance.
KIR has 4 pitlines but only a small number of trains for primary maintenance..

Yes 3rd ac now a days, I don't expect much more as gone are those days when even on standing platforms window glasses were cleaned, but respective cdo should atleast take care of basics like washroom tap workings handwashes etc. My adjacent coach is A3 and washroom was equally pathetic maintenance wise. This train had a good image in my mind earlier but this time points would be down.quite possible whole rake needs an overhaul.
Mahananda has become a good train now few months back I travelled from pryj to dli. Coach condition was good but too many unauthorised passengers after kanpur and enroute stations was a major problem in that train. Amrapali is way better in everything but timings and schedule is bad.
A new bypass line is in progress at lalitgram. Could not take pictures but I saw. And rigorous work in progress for dbg bypass. After that few trains should originate from katihar via purnea fbg. That will develope the most neglected region in effective way. That route is awesome but needs to be straightened.

That could be an election jumla , nothing on ground reality. The rake is of ER and not sure if they will run it again but it is very much required service and acts as an alternative for DHN-JGM MEMU which runs crowded between BKSC-PRR.
Inter zonal tussle is an unwanted reality. It is more pronounced in case of ER and SER. Most extreme example is Masagram. Almost 7-8 years have elapsed bqa masagram have been commissioned and, there are two separate stations still exist in two zones only a few yards apart in Masagram. Now linking is being done on war foot via Gatishakti purpose vehicle but this could be done many years back when the GC project has been conceived in planning stage. Such a shame! Whom we can blame; the then MPs or RM or Project Engineers. Still confused. We are always in sufferer's end.

Yes. This was allotted to KJM and later came under UBL. The first directly allotted WAP-7 to UBL is 39354,54,57
