Entire social media for the past few days is filled with videos of travellers on trains struggling for space across all classes.
The absolute dead silence on this matter from the Railways and the Rail Minister is only making it worse.

Ironically, years of government amplifying the videos of Vande Bharat (a good service nonetheless) has been completely smashed right at the time

I just travelled on 11302 (not even on a weekend) from Bangalore to Mumbai, and while I was fortunate enough to be on coach A2, the general and sleeper coaches and even 3AC until Kalaburgi looked like a scene from hell.

Sure, one major cause is the reduction of sleeper/general coaches but this government as per data compared to earlier governments has performed exceptonally on the front of electrification and track Doubling/Tripling - What is the use when new trains are not being added on this newly created track capacity?

How does one manage to mess it up this bad?

The same was being expected at the time of increasing Road Challan penalties as well but little bit work can definitely rid off such corruption.

Installation of CCTV in coaches, Never allow a single TTE for check(Send those in groups).

I believe you are talking about practicality. In 20 years the number of 3A coaches in many trains has been augmented to cater to extra rush. Still, there are many unreserved passengers and passengers with invalid tickets are traveling in reservation compartments. In these 20 years, track capacity has not widened proving to be a major issue.
The living standards of the middle class have deteriorated due to average inflation.

Yes, I can justify that in last 20 years per person income of India has been increased by 5 times and ticket price from Delhi to Mumbai in Sleeper Class was between 350-400 in 2004 so 5 times of that value is now around 1800 which is more then current 3rd AC price?

This shows your insecurity that when I am talking about 20 years then after also you are becoming anti BJP spokesperson. Between 2004-2014, there was not BJP government so my statement is in favour of both UPA and NDA.

According to World Bank website, per person income of India in 2002 was 468.8 USD and in 2022 it was 2410.9 USD.

Yes Bangladesh definitely overtook India in terms of per person income but do you have any historical data for price of train ticket in Bangladesh 20 years ago and today?
