more... travel on the train.Being a Sunday, it was the turn of the 12305 Howrah New Delhi Weekly RAJDHANI Via Patna. Since all the seats were already booked in First Class by the time I logged in IRCTC, so I and Kaustabh Samaddar decided to book two separate tickets. We booked one First Class ticket from Howrah to Patna, and another First Class ticket from Patna to New Delhi (Where Sourav Dutta will be accompanying us).
So enjoy the journey as I take you on a ride with me on the most luxurious class of the RAJDHANI EXPRESS, and get a complete coverage of the route and the delicacies that were served on board. The entire compilation is divided into two parts, where the first part covered our journey from Howrah to Patna in a coupe, and the second part covers the Patna to New Delhi section in a cabin. On this part you can enjoy the arrivals and departure from various important stations enroute, like Patna, Mughal Sarai, Allahabad and Kanpur. And also you would get an opportunity to see numerous station skips, overtakes and crossings. Unluckily, although were were running more than 1 hour before time at Mughal Sarai, but thick fog next morning ensured that we could hardly hit MPS till Aligarh, and lost a lot of time. Finally we arrived at New Delhi at 11:45 AM, and were once again greeted by a lot of media people and a few railway officials. Interviews and photographs were taken, and sweets (Laddoo) were distributed to the first class passengers.
Overall, it was my first ever ride in a First Class compartment, and I must admit, it was my best ever train journey till date. The amenities, behavior of staffs and Protection Force, delicacies and maintenance by OBHS Staffs wee class apart.
And as I mentioned at the end of the video,
"MANY NEW TRAINS WILL COME AND GO, BUT RAJDHANI WILL ALWAYS REMAIN THE KING".
