One of the trains in SCR which is captured rarely. With the new RSA and TT in place surprisingly the prominent WAP-4 class from Erode hauled the train.

Seen here is Cherry Red Erode WAP-4 22671 with 12732 Secunderabad to Tirupati SuperFast Express via Anantapur at Secunderabad on Platform 9.

This is a normal rake and just the livery is as such.

2. New RSA on front TB is seen with 17229/30 Trivandrum Sabari Express and 12763/64 Tirupati Padmavati SuperFast Express but the name Padmavati is not mentioned.

Powered by an offlink 22552 CNB WAP- 4, the 12988 Ajmer (AII)- Sealdah (SDAH) Superfast races through the reversible track at good speed, and overtakes our EMU at Janai Road.

In my 8 years of railfanning, I have never seen the train running better than 2 hours late. And in the worst of scenario, I have seen it running more than 24 hours late. But on this particular day, I was shocked to see the train running well ahead of its scheduled time. And more shockingly especially when all the other trains were losing time in between Asansol and Howrah/ Sealdah/ Kolkata due to an accident near Panagarh, and numerous TSR on HB Chord.
Well, I am not sure that in an absolute bizarre turn of fortune, did the train actually come ahead of its time, or as per whims and fancies, it was actually more than 23 hours late?? Seems the questions will remain unanswered.
The train follows the Ajmer- Jaipur- Agra Fort- Tundla- Kanpur- Allahabad- Mughal Sarai- Gaya- Dhanbad- Asanol- Sealdah route.
