No doubt, RC is the best maintained train of SWR. It receives special care by SWR. And this is the 1st ISO certified train of whole South India !!!
You know, the First AC of RC would be placed such that it comes exactly opposite to Main Entrance/Exit at Hubballi station.
Yes.. Seen it this morning.. But didn't notice the fact you mentioned..
I booked my ticket in current yesterday and just checked out of curiosity.. 3A had 6 seats available and 1A had only 1.. And none available in 2AC.
Such is the demand for higher classes in this train..

This part of Karnataka has only RC as their daily train. That is the reason for heavy demand in all classes.
