He wants to travel in AC Char Car (CC). Seats are available. How much he has to pay to TTE on board? Options are:- (1) Adult fare of CC... more... Senior citizen concession is not available, when we get reservation thru TTE on board. He is required to pay the full difference of reserved CC fare less the normal fare payable by an adult, subject however to availability of seat. Further senior citizen concession availed on gen unreserved ticket will not be collected, if he has age proof. Charging Of Sr. Citizen Traveling On Concession No. 360-P/Sr. Citizen/2001 The issue regarding charging of senior citizens traveling on concession, who do not produce age proof during journey, has been examined. MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS HAVE DECIDED THAT IN SUCH CASES, ONLY THE DIFFERENCE OF CONCESSIONAL FARE PAID AND NON-CONCESSIONAL FARE PAYABLE SHALL BE CHARGED. PENALTY WILL NOT BE CHARGED IN SUCH CASES.
