Yes, EMU's mainly and Passenger trains on demand.
But exclusive words cannot be easily used here bcoz on demand of EMU's and when there are less M/Exp trains, the pbigger platforms are also used by EMU's.
Same is the case in SER also.
it's really Complicated and confusing in HWH for outsiders.

generally the number of platforms mentioned can house Long distance trains only while other platforms are smaller and can accomodate EMU's and passenegrs trains only. however all platforms can be used for EMU's and passengers.
Now the distribution stands like this:
ER:
EMU=9(P1-9)
Passengers=9(P 1-9)
M/Exp=8(P 7-14)
SER:
EMU=9 (P 10-15 & 17-19)
Passengers = 7 (P 17-23)
M/Exp = 7 (P 17-23)
Common trains of SER and ER(2509,2513,2515,5901,2253,5644,5721) uses P 10 - 14 , hence that portion is common.
