Jan Shatabdi are premier trains, so given clear path mostly (higher priority). Besides Jan Shatabdi do not have unreserved coaches. @rajeshCh: Re# 240042-0 Jan Shatabdi can be boarded with reserved tickets only. If seats are vacant, UTS counters will give ticket for the available number of seats. In intercity express, tickets are issued without any conditions (whether seats are vacant or not as the intercity trains have unreserved coaches). |
