The Yuva Fares will be applicable to unemployed persons between the age group 15-45 years who fulfill the
criteria of Yuva to be ascertained as per the following documents:
i. Certificate issued under National Rural Employment Guarantee (NREGA).
ii. Registration card, the validity period of which has not expired, issued by a Government run Employment Exchange.
Tickets may be issued on production of original of any of the above certificates at the counter, a photocopy of
which should be retained along with reservation requisition as in the case of other concessions. A message shall be
displayed on the ticket that carrying of original certificate during the journey is essential for the purpose of verification.
In case the above certificates do not specify age, an age certificate like Identity Card, Ration Card, Driving Licence, Pass
Port, Educational Certificate, Certificate from Local Bodies like Panchayat/Corporation/Municipalty, or any other
authentic & recognized document on which date of birth is recorded, must also be carried in original.

Yuva quota is applicable only for Yuva trains, a special type of trains meant for unemployed YUVA.
Yuwa means a person between the age of 15 and 45 years.
YUWA has to submit certificate of specified schemes or State Employment Exchange at the time of booking itself.
About 60% capacity of the train is reserved for YUWAs rest is for normal passengers.
gets concessional fares.

Yuva Quota tickets can be booked only by producing docs having proof of NREG certificate or Employment Exchange certificate in the Reservation Counters. Only specified Yuva trains like NDLS HWH & NDLS BDTS have Yuva trains as of now. yuva concessional tickets are not available thru irctc since docs have to be produced.
