let it be as state capital and it also need to cater partially south AP, few trains like GT charminar TN GK wonderfully doing that job . y to disturb that. MDU TPJ wants train but it could not be at cost of CBE or MAS losing trains. Else shift TN capital to TPJ u can see good changes.

* Connectivity of Cities like MDU, TPJ, RMM etc with other than South India is poor. Since the southern vertice of GQ i.e. Chennai is located at north tip of TN, Rest of TN does not get benefit of better connectivity normally available in GQ route.
* The benefit of wide range of new connectivity enjoyed by major guage converted routes like DLI-ADI have not been given to MS-MDU-CAPE/TEN route. Today JP, JU, AII, BKN, UDZ etc are connected to almost all the region of India after guage conversion. The same is not true for MDU, TPJ etc. forMay be the HQ located at MAS is not taking enough interest.

Location of important cities, ports, religious centres on the route warrant extension of many long distance trains terminating at Chennai to be extended to south TN. Along with huge passenger convenience, additional benefit shall be de-congestion of MAS/MS station. Following should be done:
(1) Extend TN or GT or TNSK (make it daily too) to Tirunelveli/ Kanniyakumari via Trichy/MDU
(2) Similarly one of the daily train coming to Chennai from Mumbai, Kolkata etc should be extended southward
(3) Some of the weekly trains coming from farflung places to Chennai too may be extended to MDU and beyond. Introduction of a new BSP-MAS weekly SF a few years back is a surprise, it should have been BSP-MAS-TPJ-MDU-RMM.

for mumbai NCJ CSTM there 4 days via ED and 2 day via RU. for delhi 2 days thiru 2 days MDU DDN 2 days TNSK 2 slips to SVDK there but problem is all dont have uniform route or halt pattern to reley upon. IR should consider TEN SC daily apart from that one Kolkatta daily from TEN or TN will give necessary connection.

TN, GT are already filled and well established between NDLS and MAS... HWH mail and Coromandal also same with respect to travel between HWH and MAS... No need of extension of these dailies trains HWH or NDLS to beyond MAS.. Yes.. South TN needs trains and TN SK/ Thirukkural group should be made daily from CAPE/ TEN/ TN/ SCT/ RMM in various days of week for linking Delhi with south TN cities ... similarly, CAPE-HWH/ TPJ-HWH should be made daily from TEN/ TN/ SCT/ RMM/ CAPE/ KIK in various days of week for linking Kolkata with south TN cities ... My point is no need of Extension of current dailies ...

GT, HWH mail extension to MDU doesnt seems to be fair since there are need for two dedicated trains to NDLS from MAS and moreover, as it has more stops, it is useful also 4 pass from MAS to MAHA,M.P,UP. Instead TNSK can be diverted in mainline and serve main line and tirukkural serve the chord line. first of all i feel there is no proper connectivity from TJ,KMU to southern states and Mumbai itself. for HWH if TPJ-HWH diverted via ml. diversion of MDU-DDN in oter route is not feasible. atlast 11043/4 can be diverted via ml for connection to CSMT. also a train to SC from south via ml-vm-ms is reqd. first of all MAS itself is not properly connedcted with punjab ASR. Even though turn around time is less for 12389/90, by making mandatory changes in tt, they can very well extend it to MDU/RMM. I STRONGLY SAY...

THAT MQ BGKT SHOULD ORIGINATE FROM TPJ AND GO VIA TJ-KMU BCOZ IN THESE REGIONS MANY RAJASTHANI PEOPLES ARE THERE.but if needed, 4-5 slip coaches can be taken from MQ. since it has PM at TPJ, it is easier.
It will be good if changes are made in TNSK, TPJ HWH,MDU LTT and made daily.
