why should they be diverted , after a long struggle Chittapur,Sedam,Malkhed,Tandur,Vikarabad people got a proper Overnight train.
If you want , demand a new train from Bidar to Mysore via Humnabad , Gulbarga, Raichur, Bangalore.
Nanded is a proper intercity type train to reach Zahirabad , Bidar for employees working in Rajshree cements, Vasamdatta and so on.

But new train will not have very good TT and obviously it will reach SBC after Basava because of no slots available. There are even chances of this new train to go via Ballari, Arsikere, just like Mys - Bsb and Ypr - Svdk Exp.
Baiyappanahalli terminal will be constructed soon.
So by the time the line gets completed , we can use that . Tumkur Rayadurga line is also going good which gives additional path , so we have plenty of options.

Ok we will wait for Tumkur-Rayadurga line for another 3-5 years.
