The new bridge will be 3 meters higher from the sea level than the existing old bridge. The new bridge will be a double line bridge with alignment for double track in future with electrification
Electrification will increase cost by roughly 400 crores. Same magic actually failed in japan 7 years back . Going by india red tapes in railway still exits. So no chance no place lets just sink in
