This move aims to alleviate overcrowding during festivals and peak seasons, where passengers often struggle to find seats in reserved coaches and resort to the general compartment, leading to extremely congested conditions. The addition of general coaches will benefit those who travel in general compartments, providing them with more space and reducing congestion.

AC coaches ki sankhya badhayi gayi thi. Ab naya order aaya hai ki saare major trains me kam se kam chaar general aur chhe sleeper coaches honge. Yeh decision festivals aur peak seasons me hoti hui behad bheed ko kam karne ke liye liya gaya hai, jab passengers ko reserved coaches me seats nahi milti aur woh general compartment me jaane ko majbur hote hain, jisse bahut zyada overcrowding hoti hai. General coaches badhaane se un passengers ko fayda hoga jo general compartment me travel karte hain, jisse unhe zyada jagah milegi aur overcrowding kam hogi.
