Okay sir.. I understood the problem. So, only thing that can be done is connecting MYS line with PF4. Even if that is done.. a little respite for trains coming from BNC side..not much for trains coming from MYS and go towards YPR (and viceversa) as they have to be squeezed into PFs 8,9 and 10.
Yes, its a sad situation. Instead of utilizing MYS-HAS-ASK line and introducing dedicated trains for MYS, they just keep extending random trains from SBC and then cite congestion problems at MYS when asked for new trains. :(
But is SBC really congested ?? I have seen Island exp being put on PF by17:30 ie 2hr 30min before its scheduled departure. Also Karnataka is put 2hrs before departure, similar is the case for 8:00AM MAS Intercity and many other trains.
I didn't say that's the only way to decongest. I said that's the only reason to extend the train - to decongest!
They are brought to PF because there is no place to park the trains.
