Local leaders have prepared a list of demands, including the construction of a mini station at the Daulatpur Wyleg Yard, connectivity of the 12-meter wide FOB to the ice house in the eastern region, two additional platforms near platforms 2 and 3, the introduction of EMU trains on the Jamalpur-Munger line, doubling the track between Jamalpur and Munger, increasing the frequency of trains, constructing a third line and tunnel between Jamalpur and Bhagalpur, expanding the workload of the Jamalpur Diesel Shed to include electric engine maintenance, starting the repair of electric engines at the Jamalpur factory, constructing boundary walls around the four railway colonies in the city, and enhancing security.
