ned-ers route via hx is short agree but income wise not upto mark
thats the reasons every spl from sc/hyb go via gnt or bza follow sabari route

kc-maq is alternate for kcg-ers /cbe train

NED is just being used as a terminal here to get a rake so that SC division can run another special via WL-KMT-BZA-Ongole route ..
and regarding the route, these trains are for kerala people and they dont bother whether its going via GTL/BZA/GNT ...all it matters is whether iots going kerala or not...so that why SC divison not runnig 2 specials with 1 via trunk route and another on KRNT-RU line where sabari is serveing the GNT line...
regarding kcg-maq...original request was via shiradi ghats however SWR did't agreed to run in...

via ghats and SR not agreed to give arrival slot at MAQ if via Shiradi ghats but agreed to give if it runs via Salem-srr route...thats how it materialized and it runs with pretty good demand with lopads of end to end passengers (i have travelled in this and i know how good the demand is)
