People talking abt sikky issues in NCR but no onr cares that 5 coachea are always o/s the PF in CNB..can stimulate a racial blog here.

Kanpur is most congested station in NCR mainline. The people are never ready to part with their lands or property for Railway or city development. Two main lines delhi-howrah and Lucknow-Mumbai meets there. Railway facing difficulty to expand length of platforms. You can easily see the condition when train leaves towards Allahabad side. The walls of adjacent houses remains 30 cm from train. U can even touch the wall by expanding your hand. Only bypass line and other major station on it can help.

When Rlys are not much sure about the expansion of PF length in CNB why did they allow 24 coach trains to pass through CNB? For eg look @ HWH/SDAH only a few specific PFs are designated for longer trains thus only 3-4% of trains that leave these stns comprise of 24 coach. Trains while stationary in a PF if some portion of the trains is o/s the PF is not only illegal but dangerous too from safety point of view.
