Almost every activity and work practices in IR need a total overhaul. Too much of manipulation leads to perpetual inefficiency. Accounting system does not show the real picture, data recoding does not show real picture.
IR has to be managed with customer and market orientation instead of bureaucratic or political considerations

As long as IR is under rein of political parties, things aren't going to change expeditiously. It is hard to imagine how arm-chair managing can help solve the problems instead of focusing on the ground situation. All what seems to take place in the industry is passing of buck from one to another.
