Due to pre-non-interlocking/non-interlocking work for yard remodeling at Shahganj station on the Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Akbarpur-Jafrabad section, train cancellations, route changes, and short terminations/originations have been implemented. As a result, the Kaifiyat Express has been rerouted via Gorakhpur.

Due to ongoing developmental work in the Chakradharpur Division, several train services will be affected in the coming days. The Howrah-Rourkela Vande Bharat Express (20871/20872) and the Tatanagar-Brahmapur Vande Bharat Express (20891/20892) are cancelled from September 25th to 28th and 26th to 29th, respectively. was pulling a train from Sanki to Barakarana when it was hit by the falling rock. The impact caused damage to the railway track, including the destruction of approximately 100 sleepers and track distortion. While no casualties were reported, the railway management is currently working to remove the rock. As a result, the Dhanbad Railway Division has diverted the route of the Vande Bharat Express and another express train on the Barakarana Ranchi via Saki BIT Mesra route. The trains, which typically travel via Barakarana, Sidhwar, Hehal, Sanki, BIT Mesra, Tati Silve, and Ranchi, will now use the Muri route to reach Barakarana. The change in route will cause a delay of over an hour for passengers traveling from Barakarana to Ranchi. The Vande Bharat Express and the Asansol-Hatia-Asansol Express will both travel via Barakarana-Muri-Ranchi until further notice, with train numbers 22349-22350 and 13513-13514 respectively.
