SK (Deoghar)-बाँका-देवघर रेल-लाइन के विद्युतीकरण का रास्ता साफ हो गया है। इस हेतु निधि का आवंटन कर दिया गया है। मार्च 2022 तक कार्य के पूर्ण होने की उम्मीद है। ज्ञात हो कि इससे पहले भागलपुर-दुमका रेल लाइन का विद्युतीकरण कार्य शुरू भी हो चुका है। अब इस लाइन में भी विद्युतीकरण कार्य के होने से भागलपुर से देवघर/जसीडीह तक इलेक्ट्रिक इंजन का चलना तय हो गया है। इससे नई ट्रेन के चलने की संभावना भी बढ़ गई है और ट्रेनों की स्पीड भी बढ़ जाएगी।
