Miscreants pelted stones at the Chennai to Trivandrum Express train on Sunday evening. The incident delayed the train by half an hour at the Jolarpet Railway Junction. train arrived at the Jolarpet Railway Junction around 6.30 pm, where a supplementary engine was attached to the existing engine and the injured driver was replaced. The train resumed its operation after a delay of half- an- hour. The Jolarpet Railway Police led by inspector Chelladurai and Railway Protection Force inspector Raju arrived on the scene. filed a case and an inquiry. Further investigation is on to identify the miscreants involved in the crime.
