In order to clear extra rush of Passengers,One Jansadharan special train from Visakhapatnam to Lingampalli will be run as detailed below:-
Train No. 07053 Visakhapatnam – Lingampalli Jansadharan Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 18.50 hrs o­n 18th January, 2018 (Thursday) and arrive / depart Secunderabad at 08.50/09.00 hrs and arrive Lingampalli at 10.00 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute this special train will also stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tanuku, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikaluru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Piduguralla, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda, Cherlapalli and Moula-Ali stations.

Employees of Hindusthan Cables Ltd (HCL) sat on a dharna protesting against the government’s decision to close down the public sector undertaking. The HCL Employees Union General Secretary, A. Nagaraju said HCL that became a brand for Telangana after it was established in 1972 and earned thousands of crores as dividend for the Central government supplying telephone cables to the telecommunication department that changed the face of the country in several ways. But the BJP government has not recognised these services and put the life of nearly 550 families at stake.

The Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway carried out a Mega Fortress Ticket Checking drive against ticketless travel, irregular travel and unbooked luggage at Cherlapalli railway station o­n 30th January, 2014.
The check was conducted under the direct supervision of Shri A. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Commercial Manager, Shri M. Sarjan Rao, CCM/Passenger Marketing, Shri G. Laxminarayan, Chief Claims Officer, Shri Ravi P. Padi, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and other senior officials of SCR.
An amount of Rs. 2.85 lakh was realized as fare and excess charge from 885 persons who were apprehended during

A total of 30 Express trains and 10 Passenger Trains were thoroughly checked at Cherlapalli station by involving 138 Ticket Checking Squad staff and 30 Railway Protection Force personnel. The drive was conducted from 4 am and continued upto 10 pm o­n Thursday i.e. 30th January 2014.
