Trend attributed to tardy pace of replacing 110-km track in Thiruvananthapuram Division
Delayed arrival of trains in the Thiruvananthapuram Division of the Indian Railways is set to continue till 2019, thanks to tardy pace of replacing 110 km of track, according to senior railway officials.
At present, approximately 70% of trains in the division arrive late at stations, causing unrest among commuters. (This means passengers will have to put up with late arrival for another two years.)
In this Digital era ,2 months time are sufficient to find an amicable solution for late running of trains in the Thiruvananthapuram division.
2 year period is too much in this Digital era.
n order to clear extra rush of passengers during Pooja season, 8 superfast AC special trains will be run between H. Nizamuddin - Kochuveli (via Warangal, Vijayawada):-
1.Train No. 04426/04425 H.Nizamuddin – Kochuveli – H.Nizammudin superfast AC Special Trains via Warangal, Vijayawada(8 Services):
Train No. 04426 H. Nizamuddin - Kochuveli superfast AC Special Train will depart H. Nizamuddin at 05:55 hrson 4th, 11th, 18th& 25th November, 2017 (Saturdays) arrive/depart Warangal at 06:28/6:30 hrs, Vijayawada at 10:25/10:40 hrs on the next day and arrive Kochuveli at 11:00 hrs on Mondays.

I tHink need more trains from VSKP to CSTM/PUNE,
They could have at least converted it to Rajdhani via PGT/CBE or regularised it as ac express......in any case most of the months in a year it seems to be running.
Sometimes very difficult to understand why some of the decisions like this take time!!

Less connectivity. No daily train to reach CSTM/PUNE in early morning i.e, 5-7
18519 reaches CSTM at 4:40 am rite and its a daily service ? U need a new train for just a matter of 20 mins later arrival at CSTM ?
tehn whay have u written CSTM/PUNE ? SO u say u need 2 separate daily connections one for early morning arrival at Pune and second for early morning arrival at CSTM ?
Not getting constant patronage.
Sometimes completely Full sometime empty.

A cast iron signal box weighing 80 kg was kept on track at KYJ station in Kerala. The box was split into pieces but with large sound. The loco pilot soon informed the KYJ station master. This is something serious that it occurs in Kerala too.
