Let Guntakal division go to SCoR. No issues. Leave GTL WADI to SCR.
GTL division is very big. Can be divided and realigned, just like Waltair division portions getting attached to BZA.

Two suggestion:

the already approved KLBG division in SCR with SUR to GTL and KLBG BIDR in it. OR
Create TPTY division and keep 600 kms in it. Leave existing GTL division to SCR with areas north of GTL.

I did not say make GTL TPTY KLBG divisions. My suggestion is to split GTL division into TPTY for Southern part and GTL itself for northern part. In such a case TPTY division can be in SCOR and GTL in SCR. OR Northern part make as KLBG and Southern part as GTL itself, both in SCR.

The post is a plea to avoid Raichur Yadgir Wadi etc getting into SCoR. What importance will be given to Raichur by a zone whose HQ is nearly 1000 kms away?

Already Karnataka is suffering with 5 zones. With SCOR it will become 6th zone for a state, May be maximum in the country 😳

Nothing against any one. When people want a separate zone for Andhra, is it wrong to ask not to bring one more zone to Karnataka?

A practical solution would be to merge CR areas of Karnataka to SCR and SR area to SWR. KR KAWR can get merged with SWR as and when KR is dissolved.

SR Chennai, SCR Hyderabad, CR Mumbai, KR Navi Mumbai and SWR Hubli are doing their best to deny intra state connectivity. Now Vizag based SCOR also wants to 'serve' Karnataka!!!
