कनेक्टिविटी, गतिशीलता में वृद्धि, दक्षता में सुधार और सेवा विश्वसनीयता में सुधार आएगा। परियोजनाओं में 64 नए स्टेशन बनेंगे, छह आकांक्षी जिलों को जोड़ा जाएगा और 40 लाख से अधिक लोगों को लाभ होगा। नई लाइनें अजंता गुफाओं जैसे महत्वपूर्ण पर्यटन स्थलों को जोड़ेगी और विभिन्न वस्तुओं के परिवहन में मदद करेंगी, जिससे माल ढुलाई यातायात 143 MTPA तक बढ़ेगा। तेल आयात और CO2 उत्सर्जन को कम करके, ये रेलवे परियोजनाएँ पर्यावरणीय स्थिरता में योगदान देंगी और रसद लागत को कम करेंगी।
