With the changed rules, ticket booking is done at the Maheshkunt railway station also under the PPT system. That is, only after giving tickets to the passengers of Passenger Ten, hand is spent in cutting the reservation ticket. With this, the reservation ticket here is only cut from 11 am to 2 pm. Due to shortage of time for reservation tickets, it becomes a major problem for people to take reservation tickets.
Rail travel is expensive
After the Corona period, the railway service started with the change rules, but the rail travel has become expensive for the passengers. Passengers told that the fare for the express train from Maheshkunt to Khagadia or Barauni is Rs 75 in the reservation ticket. The distance from Maheshkunt to Khagaria is only 18 kilometers. Khagadia fare from roadways is only 20 rupees. There has been a decrease in the number of railway passengers due to expensive and ticket problems.
There is also a tota of facilities
There is also a lack of facilities here. Here there are only two against the four terms of the book clerk. Due to which there is a problem in the bookings. That is not the sweeper. Due to which the dirt remains. Cleaning work is done locally by engaging laborers from outside. Even after having the same toilets, passengers have to defecate in the open. Platform number two and toilets outside the exit gate are ready. The toilet also has a motor and tank. But till date it has not been taped.
The department has been made aware of all the problems. Lack of personnel causes problems. The system of ticket cutting and reservation etc. is decided at the departmental level.
