Among the treasure it houses are the series of temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and altars where ancient Hindu practice of Yagna were performed for creating auspiciousness in the Kingdom of Avantivarman . The architecture pattern owes itself to the Kachchaphaghta style of early medieval India where theme of music , dance and demi-gods is clearly visible in the fabulous sculptures out there . It is credited for surviving quite well in the medieval era where central India was a scene of battles of native Indian Kings with Turkish Sultanate and later on Mughals . A must see if you venture around Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) , Shivpuri and Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh). Survaya Ki Trahi is at a distance of 23 KM from Shivpuri Railway Station.

There are two platforms but only one canteen/food stall, which is on platform 1. The canteen is near the entry gate. So if you are at far end of the train than be careful of the signal and train horn while going to the canteen.
